This Banksy put him in two places at one time. The first: here he is on CL-10 in Central City trying not to look over his shoulder. The second is London, where he had accidentally caught glimpse of the clandestine artist at work more than four years ago. Not only was he sliding through space, he was also sliding through time. But the photograph in and of itself does not tell that particular story.
It tells multiple stories of Banksy's battle with NOLA's notorious "Gray Ghost," of last year at Henry and Larisa's wedding where he first caught glimpse of this painting, and of whatever story was unfolding today.
The fact that he is himself in the photo, a rare occurrence, is only made possible by some patron of the arts who has protected this painting against the Ghost with thick, transparent polyurethane.
