Out past Paradis,
before you get to the end of the land,
there is a long stretch of bayou
and, you will come to Larose, Louisiana.
Dive into the life
of Tattoos
and pinup girls
and hot rods.
You will find it hard to come out again.
A rough and tumble life.
Guns and 'gators
a swampy primitive scent.
You can't get it out of your skin.
And, when you wake up,
you tell yourself it was a crazy dream.
But, it is your reality
of normal life
that is the dream.
