This tuggs at my heart. I was born at N.O. Memorial in 67, and spent the firt twelve years of my live in Chalmette. My grandparents lived in Buccaneer Villa N., and I spent many eves just like this walking with granny. Most of my life has been lived in the Pacif NW, but it's amazing how deep roots can run. I know what the air smells like in that photo... It smells like the delta... like home..
